Teddy Bear's Picnic
Title of this art: Three Is A Crowd

Hi Steemies,

Themed parties are always fun to hold. You can choose any, as you so desire ...the options are a plenty. Today the story incorporates the Teddy Bear's Picnic theme which is so timely as I had posted about cakes yesterday on the previous scene.

Kindly see my digital art entry for today's artstorm contest which is hosted by @deemarshall. If you want to join take a look at this post for the details of the contest.

The Blue Bells

Scene 28: Pretend Picnic

The taste test went well. The three kids loved the cake and they asked for more. There's nothing on their calendar and are free today. Debbie on the other hand is running out of time because there are four more flavors that she has to come up with. Moms are very good in time management so even before the kids could ask to go outside, Debbie already had a plan. She wants to stay home in order to finish her other flavors.

Debbie: Kids, why don't we have a party?
Brianna: hmm how about a picnic at the park?
Debbie: park? that's quite far for your little baby steps
Kid 1: I'm fine here on our patio right Megan?
Megan: I agree and mom let's have a theme..
Debbie: I'll take care of it get inside now so I can prepare

Debbie wasted no time. She quickly pulled out the tumblers from the cupboard that are shaped like bears, tossed in some colorful straws. She whipped a cream creating a frosting on the newly baked sample cakes, within less than a minute she was able to create bear paw prints on the said cakes. She took three headbands from her daughter's room and glued some bear ears on them. She then called the three kids back to the patio.

Megan: oh a Teddy Bear's Picnic
Brianna: mom, can I bring Elvis?
Kid 1: Elvis is not a Teddy Bear
Debbie: Hey Clint, don't make your baby sister cry.
Clint: Alright then I will bring my Pinky stuffie
Megan: and I will be happy to use my Spiky hat
Debbie: Sure hun, go help me bring these cakes and drinks outside.

Debbie took a few snapshots of the kids together. Suddenly she realized that Brianna her youngest got a dark black hair.

Hope you like it. Until next time

The drawing is so cute, love the children’s eyes and smiles. Wonderfully made teddy ears, and Debbie is an awsome mom to create a perfect teddy bear 🐻 picnic for her kids! I like the tiny Elvis stuffed animal the little girl is holding, good luck with the contest @dinglehopper friend!

Too bad I can't draw Elvis that well 😂

Oh silly, that Elvis plushy is perfect @dinglehopper❣️

Great work!

Thanks

How cute they look! You drew Elvis fine :)
