Lost At Sea
Title of this art: Big Waves

Hi Steemies,

Good day to all. This is my digital art entry for the artstorm contest hosted by @deemarshall. There are quite a few ideas coming to my mind when I think about the theme: lost at sea today. I want to show the very wide sea I can think of and how scary it could be. Anyone lost out there is but just a speck of dust that no rescuer can see. I hope I can bring that idea into this drawing.

The Blue Bells

Scene 39: Waves

The supermarket had already closed and Debbie was just right in time to fill her cart with the ingredients that she had been eyeing the very moment she stepped in the store. She was catching her breath running like a headless chicken inside the supermarket. She had bumped into a promotional display table good thing there were only stacks of bread and nothing breakable. Bu the time she reached home the kids had already taken their dinner with their dad. Debbie looked at the precious ingredients with gusto as she put them on the refrigerator.

At Mrs. Bertie's house the night is calm and everyone is quiet. Harris is already about to go to bed when the thought of the field mouse he encountered in their store came to his awareness.
Harris: I wonder what happened to that poor mouse. Was he able to go back to his family?
Mrs. Bertie: I bet he does sweetie. Now go to bed and I will turn off the lights alright?
Harris: alright mom.

The morning came and everyone in Gardenlane Park is bursting with life and energy. No sign of stress or negativity. Everyone is so eager to start the day right. Hi's and hello's can be heard from everywhere. The birds are happy singing their songs. The bees are buzzing and Harris is delighted to see a spider crawl by his window. However, outside this town...there is also some degree of silence out there by the sea. The field mouse managed to reach the sea on his ride although the red sail is almost torn now. The water is blue and clear. The morning sky is reflected on the surface water causing a bit of blindness. There is one boat floating by. The owner and his two children are quietly praying for protection it looks like they are lost. A few feet away the field mouse is fighting for his life. Although he is already sore and tired and could not paddle, he is hoping to make it to his family. Behind him is a school of fish playing and dancing. Well they are not really dancing they are running away from the big old shark searching for his meal of the day.

Yikes! Mr. Field Mouse 🐁 can’t be eaten by a shark 🦈! His family needs him @dinglehopper, poor guy! Awsome drawing, love how you drew the sky and water. I hope Debbie’s cakes turn out good! Bless you friend❣️

Your wide seascape and low cloud make it so scary for your field mouse! I think there is a boat to rescue him just in time?
