If the mind were a door, the eyes an infinite keyhole through which to explore, What a journey it would be, just to live, y'know? A glance worth lifetime, a lovers gaze worth two more.
It seems to me though, here... There is only the unbridgeable gap between man and man, the symbol of the keyhole here representing only the tiny fragments we find possible to explore; the expression "peeping through the keyhole ", perhaps even alluding to the "locked" nature of the other.
A step further one finds... Well... We don't even know ourselves, and a great portion, perhaps, the most crucial portion, lies forever untapped and undiscernable in the recesses of our minds, and in the guts of our ancestors.
