I love painting galaxies, stars or anything outer space-y no matter what medium I choose. My favorite color transitions are blue skies to warm colors like orange, yellow or crimson. It always provides me great comfort to paint skies like these and also witness them.
I used the Kuretake watercolors for the left one and gouache for the right one. I must day I definitely love the strength of the second one more than the fluidity of the first. Also the clouds were so much interesting to make because of the hidden colors in them ranging from black to lighter shades of mauve. I am watching a Minnie Small video as I find another inspiration painting. I love watching her gouache and landscape sketchbook videos to widen my perspectives. How about you guys?
