Flower Pot

I took the challenge and time to draw more than one flower! Usually I am a bit lazy and I really like to draw one flower and that is it. Here I wanted to mix things up a little bit and the first idea was to draw a vase of flowers, but hen again I found this type a bit cooler +the pot looks vintage and a little bit better I think.

Right Now i am editing the video of this and later today I will upload i to Dtube. I returned to roses, because thats where i feel most confident in, but in the near future I do have some other flowers in mind to draw. Also I really like the side views and how to shade the different positions. It helps to learn the proportions, the way how the flower looks naturally. Someday I think of having a real flowers in front of me and drawing from those. I have never done that, just like drawing or painting landscapes.

But I think that is a really valuable thing to do and a and challenging thing at the same time. These flowers I really shaded on the spot. I must admit, I had some rest moments, because the drawing is not so huge and the shading was a little bit exhausting.
