I present you all with my most recent painting of the beautiful bird the Kingfisher. Here are some of the progress photos of how I reached the end product.
Started with a light sketch using white chalk and then applied the darker layers of colors working my way up towards the lighter hues.
After I had the basic bird design I decided to fill the background with a pattern I really enjoy doing. It reminds me of cells.
I also started with the darker tone and worked up towards a brighter green to give it a glowing effect. I really like making my paintings pop and look as if they emmit their own source of light.
And there you have it!!!
A beautiful vibrant Kingfisher. I hope you all enjoyed the insight! Have a beautiful wonderful moment whever you may find yourselves!
ONE LOVE!
