Brief History of the character
Hello steemians, just want to share with you all a drawing i did of NEYMAR, he is one of my favourite players he was born on the 5 of February 1992 in Brazil. neymar is a very phenomenal player, his abilities on the pitch are so overwhelming sometimes i see him as an entertainer, during his tenage age he became a star in Santos Fc because of his incredible skills, afterwards he won the player of the year awards. Neymar is a very big figure in brazil and well known in the world as a skillful footballer, he join FC Barcelona in 2013-2014 season and have won several titles before moving down to PSG (paris Saint Germain) where he is currently playing at the moment.
Back to business 😂 this drawing took me roughly 2 and the half hours to do. I will be showing you thr progress shots below but here are the materials i used for this work:
-Graphite pencils 5B H HB
-Eraser
-cotton bud
-Roller-Tip pen 0.5
The journey of this work wasn't as smooth as i expected, but i didn't give up, here are the highlights of the work.
1
Note:
-Before starting a drawing like this always start with a faint outline just like my first shot. This principles can be applicable to any piece of work.
2
-Darken areas that you know wouldn't give you much problem after outline your sketch.
3
-This is the point where i started shading, the method of shading i used for this work is called Hatching ///////
4
-here i pay key attention to my shading process by observing where and where should be very dark or light
