The day after Barack Obama's Inauguration, 21st January 2009, I actually bought the Daily Express mainly because of the message, Hope Is Reborn!
Ironically, the morbid thought of his tenure/longevity popped in my mind. I wrote, 'when well he be assassinated..how long before he'll be assassinated! May the swords of God protect him! .
The thing is, I'm not even religious...I'm British! Haha...I meant...spiritual!
We all know he survived physically, but he suffered a lot of criticism, mentally. But tell me, what leader in history has not suffered the same fate? Hmmm...
After almost 10 years dashed by, I found the newspaper and sometime circa 2017, I cut the front, page and glued it to a canvas, began messing around with ideas and transported them around BO.
I actually finished it today! 24, 09, 18, not because of not knowing what to do with it, I just felt I have too many unfinished paintings and wanted to stop starting new canvasses without completing them.
Over the past few weeks, if you've noticed, I've been completing paintings in a short space of time and uploading them. It's not because I've been painting non stop!
