Last weekend I visited the Uncheon Reservoir in Gwangju (운천저수지) to take some photos of the Cherry Blossoms. Despite the overcast, I got some beautiful photos, and I wanted to share them here 🌸 I also linked more information about the area above that includes directions on how to get there.

These were the directions my friend gave me.
The entrance to the park.
The water fountain was going off just as I was about to leave.
For a few shots, I tried to center this structure.
I like the white to green contrast with this tree.
Played around with focusing the foreground and background here.
I tried for at least 10 minutes to get a bee on a flower, but it was just not happening 😅
There were a lot of couples that came to see the Cherry Blossoms, naturally 💕

I love cherry blossoms, never seen white ones. I used to live in Portland, Oregon and they have hundreds of them downtown, donated decades ago by the Japanese government, and for a couple weeks in the spring the streets are pink with the falling blossoms. Beeeyoootifull. Thanks for this. Nice one.

That is funny because there were only two pink trees in around that little lake. So every couple was stopping by them, and I'm waiting there for them to leave so I can get some decent shots because the lighting was not working on that side of the lake.
