My color pencils art. The summer's moments 17. Irises.

Hello my dear friends, followers and guests of my blog!
Today I continue the series of works with colored pencils.
And today I draw with watercolor color pencils. I draw a wonderful flowers, Irises.

I draw a lot, but I am still not very experiensed with watercolors color pencils.
Working with these pencils is still somewhat mysterious for me, so I like to experiment in my free time with a combination of watercolors and colored pencils.
Today's my work turned out this:

There are many shortcomings in it, but many very nice places.

In this work I used watercolor paper with medium grain and watercolor paints, which I drew the background.

This time I will not show the whole process step by step, because in my opinion there were a lot of extra steps))) But the result I wanted to share, and show you!

I hope you like it!

This is really beautiful! I've always liked watercolor pencils because they seem easier, but I've never done something as beautiful as this. :3

WOW. These are beautiful and so inspiring! You make me want to try it. I've never actually tried drawing flowers since way back in school. Such a great job with the colors and the layers to create such vivid imagery. Thanks for sharing!

Love the zoomed in part. It really shows the detail in the painting. I must admit I'd really like to see the process. :-)

great job! I would enjoy working with the pencils.

Like it? I LOVE IT!

Sometimes I wish I can paint like this. I know it's not impossible - just not enough hours in the day.

Keep up the lovely work - HUGS.

I can see the work that went into it when you zoomed in
Very pretty even if you say you are not experienced in watercolour
I can't tell 😊

Thanks!)) I am not experienced in watercolor pencils. I found it very difficilt technique with unpredictable result (for me) But I am trying!

These flowers are really lovely, I like how unique and colourful they are.

Well done, prostosun :).
