Last month I through my hat in the ring and set up a booth at the Wisconsin Comicon and was blown away by how positive a response I got from my art and my up-cycled geek girl clothing. It inspired me to start doing a draft for a comic that will be my next goal to finish. If your'e going to do something go all the way and never hold back I went in thinking I would just barely make back what I spent on the table and came out a champ! Looking forward to next year and will hopefully have a few more cons under my success belt.
This is a photo of my booth for the convention, it is quite bright and my next convention my display with be even more over the top and just as colorful.
This looks like so much fun! I have always wanted to set up at a convention (for knives or pottery). We are glad that we found your post! Be well.
