Latin Rock was born in the United States in the late 1950s. In 1958 the adaptation of a Mexican folk song called “La bamba” by the chicano rock artist Ritchie Valens and "Tequila"by the instrumental rock band The
Champs released both became grat hits and both incorporate clear Latin sounds.
I composed a song in that genre /Latin rock/ incorporating some Latin influence in the chord progression, but keeping the vocals in the rockabilly style of early Elvis or Johnny Cash.
