What? to sit in front of a computer and chat with people? Write about something that you do as a couple and the other person is also blogging about the same trip with the same photos? He says I have a different perspective on our adventure but it's still the same photos, the same place. Oh sure I can do it.. chat with people, comment, comment. It's a formula isn't it, to be noticed.

I get defensive, I feel like I'm getting pushed.
Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to be an artist. It has been a driving force and I have fought parents and teachers who thought I couldn't do it or that I needed to be something that they wanted me to be. Maybe that's where I get my stubborness when I am being helped to do something that may take me in an other direction but blinded to maybe the direction he may be helping me could be one that I may be good at. Who knows.
Ok, got it out. Time to chill since tomorrow we roll towards Texas. Chat later..maybe. lol

You are so lucky to be able to take a road trip like that! Someday I think I will do that. Keep it up, sometimes it is good to be pushed... it's not you have to be at the office in the am, lol. Your paintings are great also!

i love your paintings of doggies - heck, I love doggies. they are so much easier to chat with than people sometimes. I have an aversion to chatting sometimes too - but my mouth is so big that it runs on it's own steam and it lands me in big kakka as we say in mzansi ;-) My ill-advised pearls are to just wing it and don't be afraid. Your experience will probably produce something as pretty as your paintings.
