Hello Steemian friends! Here’s my entry for today’s “Ashart Contest Day 9 - Theme - Waiting.” Ashley gives such interesting Themes to go by, I enjoyed drawing this very much. I love drawing ocean scenes, it’s very relaxing for me, and as the drawing comes alive, and I can almost smell the ocean, the wonderful breeze, toes dug in the soft sandy beach, sounds of seagulls, and of the waves rolling into the shore. This is how I used to feel when I lived by the warm ocean in California, when I was very young. I live far away from the ocean now, but drawing scenes like this one is very satisfying indeed, beautiful memories. I have had such a beautiful life, thanks be to God. Yes I’ve had my ups and downs like everybody else. But I’ve truly learned through my tribulations. So if I look back on my whole life’s journey, I can truly see, that all things have worked together for the good.

Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Rom 8:27-28

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”



As I drew this lighthouse with the guiding light used for ships during times in storms, I thought about God’s amazing grace to guide me through my storms and tribulations, it is truth, I have witnessed it, and I deeply thank Him.
