Gordon Hayward acknowledges boos from Utah crowd, ‘It’s part of the game’

I hate to say this but I dont think Gordon Hayward is a good fit for the Celtics. And maybe not even Kyrie. That was a magic batch of chemistry they had during the playoffs without those two and they somehow might just be a better team without them. Sounds ridiculous to even THINK that.

I cant believe those words even came out of my fingers but the eye test cant be denied. absolutely can’t believe, as a sports fan and genuine human being, the amount of Utah Jazz fans that booed Gordon Hayward, after all he’s been through and all he did for them.

A couple of years ago, Hayward ended his 7 year tenure with the Jazz, and signed a big free agent contract with Boston. In his first game with the Celtics, he suffered a horrific ankle injury - one observer said it looked like his foot had been separated from his leg - that ended his season, and nearly ended his career.

Hayward worked for months to rehabilitate his injured body, and he’s back in the league, playing well. Yesterday was his first visit to Salt Lake City as a Celtic.
