15 years ago trading of digital goods was quite challenging. Internet was not so widespread and most of users were too afraid to buy goods from strangers. It means that to sell song or album you should provide end-user with this digital item on physical storage. Since all the protection systems were not perfect, there were a lot of pirate copies on secondary market and this had damaged income. Moreover, to sell a thing on secondary market, you should use mail or some kind of delivery.
Today everything has changed, you can buy any song in several clicks right from you smartphone, there is no need for certain physical storage and it much easier to protect right on digital content. However, situation with piracy and secondary market remain almost unchanged. Who is the responsible for such inconvenience? I think that distributors are. The whole industry grows, but nobody tries to develop or to improve secondary market. Instead, companies sue popular portals and force people to become pirates.
Secondary market for digital goods is ready for revolution, but it was stopped several times before. Moreover, this is responsibility of creators of portals for selling digital goods. They did not even tried to negotiate with original content produces and create healthy ecosystem. Therefore, both parties are guilty, but only one is suffering. I am talking about end-users, who had not even took part in these campaigns. We want to sell digital goods that we do not need nothing more. For instance, since last several month I bought 3 albums, 2 movies and one subscription. Oh, and several in-game items for mobile game. I have already watched movie, I would not listen to 2 of 3 albums anymore and I do not have enough time to play this game. What should I do with all this?

I have much more of digital items that I do not need any more and I am not able to sell it. Now I have good salary, but in future, I may not afford buying so much content. What is solution?
