Since Gameloft has released Asphalt 8, it has seemed a long way to go, and now the company prepares the next full-fledged part of the extremely popular mobile racer series.
In fact, "a lot of time" is a pure truth - since then, it has been almost five years, while we have seen spin-off like Street Storm, but it can hardly be described as a true racer.
As soon as Asphalt Games went out for portable consoles such as PSP, DS, 3DS and PS Vita, iOS and Android today are the only platforms where you can play the powerful arcade racer. The ninth part is called Asphalt 9: Legends and is now in the so-called soft launch for iOS. That means only one - its premiere for the two mobile systems is coming very soon.
In addition to appearing as good as that, Asphalt 9: Legends promises over 50 licensed cars and a long career mode. Gameloft will also offer an innovative management feature called "Touch Drive". Its goal is to enable mobile gamers to focus more on the race and what's happening around them, not on the management itself, which can often be quite cumbersome on the screen of the smartphone or tablet.
