What are you planning on putting in your system? What CPU specifically? I had some trouble with the 990fx extreme 3 and an 8350 (pretty much couldn't handle it), but this board looks much better!

Im gonna be running an amd i believe its the ryzen 5 but im not sure i cant remember the one i had picked out i think it was a 6 core am3+ 3.2ghz i know those were the specs. And an msi 1080 graphics card

I thought that all ryzen CPU's were am4? But I may be wrong... I'm not certain. Hmm, well CPU isn't as important as GPU, so I would say just get your 1080 and then spend all your left over money on the CPU! Get the best you can afford with left over money from the GPU :)

nice thanks and it may have been one of the fx amds i just cant remember but i was talking to our tech guy at work and he has an amd 9590 4.7ghz cpu and its a beast! im gonna buy that and an msi r9 8gb gpu and an msi 990fxa motherboard to complete the build im hoping its gonna be twice as powerful as the one im currently building. so hopefully i end up with 2 very functionable towers and some crappy guts i can sell and make a few bucks

i just put this first one together about 2 weeks ago and im wishing i had just held off to buy the right one but now ill havw a mining pc and a trading pc and wont have to compromise performance for either one
