Fuck It, Before It Fuck's You #119 (All I wanted was a Pepsi)

Good morning and happy Thursday from the West Coast. They say it’s the best coast but it’s far from perfect. Plenty of assholes here just like everywhere else. But the catch is there’s a lot more people here, which means there’s a lot more assholes.. Law of averages I’m afraid. Can’t be helped. But I’d be an asshole too if…. Actually I guess I am an asshole, so who am I to judge these assholes. The point is, this asshole writes blogs. And that’s what it’s time for me to do.

Speaking of assholes. There’s one particular type of asshole that gets on my nerves more than others. These are the assholes that always need something to complain about. Yes I know that’s mostly what I do with this blog, but we’ve already established that I’m an asshole. Besides, at least I’m trying to make people think. I’m failing, I’m sure, but the important part is I”m trying. And if you’re not trying to do something, you’re just being noisy and making a stink. Like a fart. At least if you take a shit something could grow out of it. In fact cow shit grows mushrooms that let you talk to God. Cows are much more constructive than some people. Some people don’t want to actually solve anything because then they won’t have shit to complain about. And they’ll probably die if they don’t have shit to complain about.
Some of these are the same people who’s default answer to anything is “Use Google”. I feel like this is largely a thing with authoritarian leftists. I know some of you out there think all leftists are authoritarian. Shut up. Either way, I don’t think you see this very much on the right. But in the left’s defense, the right’s ideology is probably much more simple to explain. Leftist ideology tends to be very academic. Working class people, by and large, don’t want to hear it. Much easier to convince them that people who don’t look like them are stealing their jobs than it is to convince them that we need to unite to bring down the system that makes us have to compete for the right to earn a living. But if we’re ever going to build an alternative, we need to build community. To do that, you need a dialogue, and you can’t build a dialogue with a search engine. I mean, maybe you can now, but that’s creepy as fuck ain’t it? I mean, I don’t condone Ted Kaczynkski’s methods, but he kind of hit the nail on the head about technology taking over our lives, didn’t he?
Speaking of which, I’m hearing that vaccine passports are probably going to be a thing now. Either corporations are going to require them, or the government is. Maybe both? Either way you’ll need one to do pretty much anything. And the right will call it socialism. Of course, there will continue to be pandemics into the future, so you’ll have to get your passport updated every couple of years. Eventually you’ll be able to pay extra for the premium vaccine, where they’ll inject nanobots into your bloodstream that will kill anything that doesn’t belong there. Maybe perhaps they’ll be able to repair damaged cells too. They’ll certainly be sending all your bio metric data to some secure server somewhere. Maybe they’ll even be able to jack into your brain and link you to a hive mind. Would that be so bad? Maybe. But by then nobody will care anymore. They’ll all be happy to be a part of the hive mind, and then maybe we can finally work together to solve our problems, and all those assholes will finally run out of shit to complain about. So all I can say is fuck it! Before it fuck’s you.
