Daily general astrology forecast for February 17, 2018 (for all signs)

in astrology •  7 years ago

Another dynamic day is in store for us as several aspects are active today, starting with the Mars – Neptune square mentioned both in yesterday's forecast and in the latest Week In Preview. Some of us may have some difficulty in taking action today under this aspect; this is due to a possible sense of confusion, as in “What do I do? What is the first step?” Others may just move forward, but on false pretenses.

We do, however, get help from the Superior Conjunction of the Sun and Mercury, both still sextile Uranus. This clarifies our thinking and communications, and can help us get over the possible obstacles of Mars – Neptune.

The Jupiter – Pluto sextile is active today as well, with the Moon providing easy support to both planets.

The second half of the day is spent under a void-of-course Moon, as well as an energy shift as Mercury begins a 16-day journey through Pisces. Creative, abstract thinking rules over linear thinking now. Mercury does have a bit of trouble with this, so some of us will need to go out of our way to think creatively.

Today's aspects (US Eastern Standard Time, UTC -5):
Mars square Neptune 3:20am (13° 21' Sagittarius / Pisces)
Sun conjunct Mercury 4:27am (28° 47' Aquarius)
Moon sextile Pluto 9:49am (20° 19' Pisces / Capricorn)
Moon trine Jupiter 2:13pm (22° 38' Pisces)
Moon then goes void-of-course until entering Aries the following day at 4:04am.
Mercury enters Pisces 8:27pm.
