To utilize intention at full strength, there are several ingredients that must be integrated. Let’s use, as an example, if your intention is to be healthy. The easiest way to formulate the integration is to compose those ingredients in outline form. First, write down your intention to be healthy. The next section is goals: What, exactly, is to be achieved in reaching a state of healthiness. What do you look like? What kind of clothes do you wear? What kind of places do you go? Be as exact as you can so you can visualize being healthy as you want it to be. Under the third section are listed the plans that will be used to reach the goals and attain the intention, in this case, to be healthy. Here, you would make scheduling for activities that will achieve the goals and fulfill the intention. As a given, once you set that as your intention, you agree to the commitment to adhere to the plans. If you use this method of outlining, when you think about your intention, you also see the goals associated with it and the plans to achieve good health successfully. Having this complete visualization ready in your mind is the method to getting the most powerful synchronistic responses from your efforts. Rule number one: Create a clear visualization of exactly what you are intending. For example, as in your intention to be healthy, you should have as clear a vision as possible of how a state of healthiness appears to you. If you are intending to be wealthy, exactly how much money or worldly goods would you need to be wealthy?
Rule number two: Focus on what is the most important intention to you now. Write out at least three intentions and then list them in your mind by priority, so that, even though you are primarily focused on the first priority, you will also automatically visualize the other intentions with their goals and plans. It is in this form that we will now incorporate gratitude with intention, enacted with a gesture. To couple gratitude and intention with a gesture is to utilize that human attribute called associate memory. Let me explain associative memory. Have you ever heard a song that immediately took you back to the first time you heard it?? Bingo!! Associative memory!! Just as your mind went back to that memory associated with that song, you can teach your mind to go to any memory you choose.
