PRESENT DAY ASTROLOGICAL CHALLENGES

Challenges are coming for all of us, individually and as groups. Four of the most powerful planets for long term change are active, assertive and aggressive during this year. Uranus has emerged out of peace loving Pisces into action orientated Aries, Saturn is in Capricorn and Jupiter is in Scorpio, heralding similar conditions as existed in 1927, the last time these planets have been joined together in powerful signs. One major event from 1927 was the global decree that abolished slavery in all forms. As a side note: In Astrology, the four cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) initiate changes of seasons when the Sun makes its annual passage into them. The word “cardinal” originates from the Latin word for “hinge”, since they each mark the turning point of the seasons. These signs are considered forceful and dynamic, initiating action and providing the energy for change. They can also bring an atmosphere for being inconsiderate, controlling and demanding. Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto will be traveling through cardinal signs. The cardinal signs of Aries and Capricorn are action signs that accept challenges and make things happen, and we can expect plenty of both this year. Jupiter is about growth through development and expansion, Uranus is about sudden and dramatic changes. Aries is assertive, pioneering action. This is the perfect combo for bringing forth a new world order. A cardinal pattern has emerged, where Uranus in Aries and Saturn in Capricorn get tough with Pluto for an edgy configuration. This pattern has been repeated several times since 2011, which indicates a series of major showdowns between the old establishment (Saturn) and the new world order (Uranus) with the transformer (Pluto) placed squarely in the middle of this arrangement. The planets have spent a lot of time in challenging relationships. The inevitable changes that come are a continuation of the vibrations from the rare alignment of the solar system with the core of the Milky Way that happened in 2012, the last year of the Mayan calendar. By 2025, it will be a different world. Keeping up with the changing atmospheres, on a day to day basis, will help you be better prepared for the major shift that is expected to be occurring in the coming few years. The potential from the power struggles between the energies of the planets is that the transformations experienced will be worldwide.
