The most fabulous New Moon of the year 2021 is nearly upon us, and it occurs this weekend on the 13th March at 10.20 GMT in the sign of Pisces. Now to say that this last 12 or so months has been rather "challenging" is a little bit of an understatement, however some of us (certainly those of us in the UK) are starting to come out of the other side, as vaccines roll out and some kind of normal life seems a possibility once again. This New Moon, effectively a new start or fresh beginning, will definitely help us along that road.
It will see the New Moon conjoining with the planet of love Venus and Neptune, the planet of inspiration and dreams. This is a really spiritual and healing combination where we can bury the hatchet, forgive and forget and sort the rifts and differences between us that may have been rising in recent times. The Royal Family please take note. Added into this, the New Moon will make a sextile to Pluto the planet of transformation and change, and this will help us all to go into our soul and adapt ingrained attitudes and psychological problems as well. We can self analyse, find out where maybe we were wrong and fix things permanently.
If you are more of the artistic type, then this will be a wonderful weekend to get those juices going and to make something special. Be it music, painting, dance, craftwork, photography, using inspiration and opening up your mind to every possibility, do it - you are never going to have a better time to tap into your unconscious and to create. This New Moon will give us vision, perspective and maybe even psychic insights too...
Mercury Jupiter and Saturn are now all rolling along in Aquarius, and new attitudes, ways of thinking and seeing the world in a more "global context" are continuing to flourish. This a moment of opening out and understanding that there is a new message that the world is broadcasting - that being different is actually ok!!
That push to sweep away the old guard and bring in new attitudes is seen through the constant Saturn square to Uranus that will be the signature aspect of 2021. To this end we can really start to motor along in changing our lives for the better, as Mars in Gemini, starts to apply a useful trine to Saturn in Aquarius. These are the two motivating forces in the heavens above us going in the same direction and talking the same language for once. They are in a cooperative mood, and when you are using the accelerator (Mars) and brake (Saturn) in unison, you do get a smooth ride. Long may that continue!!
