To block light of far stars, not our Sun, astronomers want in order that their brightness has ceased to prevent to study exoplanets. First she is our assistant – by means of an occlusion method we find the fact of existence of the planet. And on character of blackout of a luminescence we count a lot of useful information about an object, but then there is desire to look directly at him. And bright light of a star becomes a hindrance.

It is interesting to me when they finish this project? And what discoveries they will be able to make by means of him.

Amazing

That is an interesting idea, but that satellite has an awfully small aperture relative to its supposed purpose. You need a large aperture to bring in enough light to clearly see distant objects. By comparison, the aperture on the Hubble Space Telescope is 2.4 meters, 240x the size of the aperture on this device. Based on that, I don't think a satellite of this size would work for even objects in our own solar system, much less outside it.
