Weekly update on Atheios [ATH] - What's coming next?

It's been a great week again for Atheios!

The coin was in a neck and neck race on the Kastle pro's project voting page, but with the help of their strong community they made it to the #1 spot by friday. After the voting ended Kastle.pro announced following post on their Twitter page.

Woop woop! Atheios is currently undergoing further review by the Kastle.pro staff inside their so called 'Kastle review pipeline'. If Atheios manages to successfully go through this review they will be listed on Kastle.pro. This is already a big step into the right direction! Even more reason to #HODL!

Focus on other exchanges

As you may now, Atheios can already be traded on Stocks Exchange. But as we are already used to, the Atheios team never sits still. The Atheios Developer, know as Berran is currently working together with the Safe.Trade staff to get Atheios listed on their exchange.

A hardware wallet is a special type of bitcoin wallet which stores the user's private keys in a secure hardware device.

They have major advantages over standard software wallets:

private keys are often stored in a protected area of a microcontroller, and cannot be transferred out of the device in plaintext.
immune to computer viruses that steal from software wallets.
can be used securely and interactively, private keys never need to touch potentially-vulnerable software.
much of the time, the software is open source, allowing a user to validate the entire operation of the device.

The last point is exactly what github user and community member mkrufky did for Atheios, he is currently working on making it possible to carry your ATH on the ledger wallet. Comes in handy when you were going to #HODL just like me doesn't it?

My opinion

My opinion hasn't changed since last week. This project is doing great work and showing us alot of improvements past week! As I said last week, I'm definitely on HODL!

More news is coming next week, details about 'ATH Mask and a basic, but stable working API to keep track of your balances. stay tuned!
