"Atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning." -- C.S. Lewis (1996). 'Joyful Christian', p.7, Simon and Schuster.
Atheism can be too simple, as atheists might hope to make one act, and that is to reject.
But overall if one relies upon that approach, indeed that is too simple.
It is better to understand how and why you can reject since you have proof here and now to do so.
Use it. Christianity is easy to discount, use their offers to do so.
I don't see that life is lacking meaning when you reject religion(s).
I don't see that life has meaning by accepting religion(s).
I don't see that one must accept religion in order to have meaning in their life.
Your lives have meaning, accept that.
"Atheists express their rage against God although in their view He does not exist." -- C. S. Lewis "The Problem of Pain". Book by Clive Staples Lewis, 1940.
I don't see that as accurate also.
You don't need to color a group of people who discount your faith as having "Rage".
People become upset over the atrocity and other frauds religions, notably Christians, perpetrate.
Doing upsetting things causes people, atheists or not, to be upset.
I'd not bother spending time or money on this person's drivel.
