Gunung Padang is located in the Karyamukti Village, Cianjur, West Java - Indonesia (coordinates: 107 ° 3'22.40 "E 6 ° 59'37.62" S). According to the first survey in 2012, The site area is approximately 25 hectares. But by June 2014, the Education and Culture Ministry stated that Gunung Padang has 29 hectares area, and also stated as National Site Area.
Gunung Padang consists of a series of rectangular stone enclosures with inner partitions. There is a walkways, gate entrances, as well as various rock mounds, all of them in a ruinous state.
What you need to know is, all of them were constructed of naturally-forming andesite, i.e. basaltic, pillars or columnar blocks. You must be curious how big they block? The size of the blocks varies between 25 centimetres and 40 centimetres in width and height, and on average around 1.5 metres in length, with a weight of approximately 250 kilograms. Some of blocks, which have either a roughly square or polygonal profile, are actually much larger in size, with weights exceeding 600 kilograms.
We are all known about how the pyramids looks like before, how its build, and all about the ancient history we already heard and read. Suddenly all of that may changed, after the discovery of a modern temple structure in Turkey, Göbekli Tepe. The site was dated 10.000 BCE.
But you'll be shocked if Gunung padang was about 22.000 years old. First analysis in 2012 by Radiometric dating and Geoelectric result, around 5000 BCE. But Gunung Padang does not actually up on the hill, but it was the hill. By the Dutch naturalist manual Rapporten van de Oudheidkundige Dienst, in 1914, Gunung Padang had been known to locals for millennia.
One of the most interesting things about Gunung Padang, aside from its age, is that during coring it was found that much of the buried structure was reinforced with a type of cement. This bonding agent, which has been used as a mortar and sort of glue in certain parts of the site, consists of 45% iron ore, 41% silica and 14% clay. It’s said that this mixture provides for a very strong and durable mortar base, and is surprising evidence of the level of sophistication of the building technique." - mysteriousuniverse.org
Everything we've been taught about the origins of civilization may be wrong. Old stories about Atlantis and other a great lost civilizations of prehistory, long dismissed as myths by archaeologists, look set to be proved true." - Danny Natawidjaja, PhD, senior geologist with the Research Centre for Geotechnology (Indonesian Institute of Sciences).
According to Danny Natawidjaja, Gunung Padang is not a natural hill but a man-made pyramid. The origins of construction here go back long before the end of the last Ice Age. The work is massive, even at the deepest levels. It bears witness to the kinds of sophisticated construction skills that were deployed to build the pyramids of Egypt, or largest megalithic sites in Europe.
And of course these would not going easy for the archaeologist. Danny also realized those things, he say:
I've already got myself into a lot of hot water with this. My case is a solid one. It based on good scientific evidence, but it's not an easy one. I'm up against deeply entrenched beliefs.

My view and impression upon this topic might be aligned with you. But for now we should keep this hypothetical assumption from entering the scientific realm. The majority of scientist are pushed away from talking about this subject. However the right appoach might be to surface more evidences and conduct more research. Australian researches had made a plead to conduct research and excavation around Seribu Islands, which is suspected to host many evidence leading into a more rigorously accepted theory but our government allegedly denied those request, thus the research halted. As for now all this we have to see as an inconclusive theory.
