This morning I went to a Cycad auction. Some Cycads are quite rare and very sought after and collectible. I have a number of Cycads in my garden, and was looking to by a bargain.

These are quite scares and in South Africa we need permits to keep adult plants, as people steal them from the wild. I see they don't grow naturally in Canada. (We also have some imported types here, mostly from Asia, for them we don't need permits) You can read more about them by following the links.
