Well, this is it rockstars, we're at the airport awaiting our flight to Melbourne.
We drove from Dunedin to Queenstown this morning, about 4 hours, and dropped our hire vehicle off around lunch time. After a bite of lunch we made our way through check-in and customs and entered the duty-free area.
We don't usually buy duty-free stuff but I wanted to buy a bottle of gin for the friend who looked after our house and cats back home so picked up something nice. I have no idea if it was a good price or not though, but who cares anyway right? It's a gift for someone who did us a really nice service.
Anyway, we'll be boarded and in the air soon. I hope to see you at the other end, if we don't crash and burn on the way.
