Nitin Gupta | Former Ministerial Adviser


Nitin Gupta has spent his life shuttling between India and Australia—building businesses, networks, friendships, and political bridges.

He is the Managing Director of Australia India Future Investments (AIFI)—a company that assists Australian companies and organisations to do business/investments in India; as well as assists Indian companies and organisations to do business/investments in Australia. This assistance might be through locating partners and affiliates, provision of a marketing plan, raising profile, competitor analysis or through arranging a series of business meetings

Nitin is a former Victorian Government Ministerial Adviser, and worked as Ministerial Adviser to the “Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship” from February 2011 to May 2014.

Nitin also worked as Ministerial Adviser to the “Minister for Energy and Resources” from March 2013 to March 2014.

Nitin worked as Special Adviser to the Premier for “Victoria—India Business Relations” from December 2010 to March 2013. Prior to joining the Victorian Government, Nitin helped the Leader of Opposition (Victoria) as Special Adviser on “Victoria—India Business Relations” from August 2006 to November 2010.

Nitin has a variety of skills, practical knowledge and over 25 years of extensive experience in the areas of business and politics, and has successfully worked in both private and public sectors; in government as well as in opposition; in India as well as in Australia.

Nitin has a high level of “India Literacy”, “International Literacy”, “Multicultural Literacy” and “Intercultural Capability”.

Nitin has also worked in a variety of other industries including food grains & commodities; gold and silver jewellery; telecommunications (BPO); and education & training (RTO).

As an “AFL India Adviser”, Nitin is also helping the Australian Football League (AFL), Richmond Tigers FC (Premiership Winners 2017), and Western Bulldogs FC (Premiership Winners 2016) with their Indian strategy and commercial/community engagements.
