The Avengers vs Superman and Batman

An epic battle between legendary, iconic super heroes. This was an interesting one for me, I've never drawn this many characters into one piece before. I guess the greatest challenge for me was balance the composition. With this many characters fighting each other in one image it was a little tough, but I'm happy with the way it turned out

Here's the breakdown.
step 1 Pencils
The sketch isn't as clean as i would like, but sometimes things get messy. just roll with it.

step 2 line art.
the long and painful line art. just cleaning up the pencils here. its a marathon not a sprint.

step 3 color
i just put down some flat colors, I tried to not to let the colors get too intense. still gotta long way to go.

step 4 shading
i threw down a few layers of shadow. probably around 4-5

step 5 finishing.
texture and lighting and other effects
this is step is all about putting the icing on the cake , because all the hard work happens in the first 4 steps.
