Great analysis from both facelikethesun and yourself. And yet (too) many people will neither see, nor believe that there is any connection to anything biblical because they think that everything is fiction.
In my lifetime, people have turned away from the church and switched their faith from God to science. This lack of support, based on the Word is leaving us all vulnerable to the deceit and lies being thrown at us from all directions.

I'm not a big "everything is demonic" guy, but blatant story framing is blatant framing. I'm entertained by certain comics, but I see them for what they are. Everything not of Jesus can be a potential vessel. I also believe God works through non-christians... without them even knowing it. Unfortunately in the comic book world Marvel has been dropping morality and injecting agenda far more since the Disney purchase. http://thefederalist.com/2017/04/12/forcing-political-correctness-employees-characters-killing-marvel-comics/ There are no more Christian writers in the company (that I'm aware of). Marvels animated movies are humdrum dreck at the moment.... So are their Comics. They've done a phenomenal job at story-weaving their Cinematic Universe, .. and I think It's HARD AS ALL GET OUT to make a movie about an omnipotent power and not have him resemble YHWH. ... To me.. the real tragedy is.. Are they going to go with a Jesus allegory in Avengers 4 or go with a Lucifer allegory? I think they will abandon the "celestials" story line and go with a story where the avengers from other timelines (where Thanos didn't destroy half of the world) show up and kick Thanos' rear via quantum zone and time manipulation. If One person ends up wielding the Infinity Gauntlet at the end of the movie, i fear it will be a Lucifer allegory. I don't think Disney has ANY interest in making a Jesus allegory as (in their mind) they already have their Narnia property (they barely do anything with). It's always possibly that comics are hard to write and the writers believe they need to pull off of "ancient mythology" for inspiration.... But I fear it's a mixture.. Mythology inspiration..... spiritual influence ..... and Disney agenda. I'm very curious to see where they will take Avengers 4.
