Pertamina MOR I predicts the need for avtur fuel in Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar, Aceh increased up to 150% during the long holiday. To maintain the safety of product distribution channels, Pertamina formed a team of 2017 and New Year 2017 task force.
the normal daily aviation distribution at Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport is 50 kiloliters per day. The number is expected to jump to 150% to 125 kiloliters per day.
In addition to Avtur, Pertamina also predicts that gasoline fuel consumption in Aceh will increase by 6.8% from normal average distribution of 1858 kiloliters to 1985 kiloliters.To anticipate the supply, Pertamina MOR I has prepared gas station in two locations which become the center of the highest fuel consumption in Aceh region, that is in Langsa City and Aceh Tamiang Regency. Provision of gas station pockets in the form of a tank car with a load of fuel.
The supply of fuel to the public in Aceh is supplied from five fuel terminals, namely TBBM Sabang, TBBM Krueng Raya, TBBM Lhokseumawe, TBBM Meulaboh, and TBBM Simeulue through 111 gas stations spread across Aceh.
Meanwhile, for 3 kilograms of LPG, Pertamina increased the supply of 100,097 tubes from daily distribution of 90,223 tubes. The resilience of LPG supply in Aceh area is supported by LPG Depot of Pangkalan Susu in Medan (North Sumatera), 7 SPPBE and distributed through 65 agents and 2,416 LPG 3 Kg.
