Abandoned Shit Weekly Contest - №. 2 - Homes!

This is Morela, an abandoned house that's in my city, Maracaibo, Venezuela. As you can see, even though the house has a door, this one is sealed from the inside out with concrete. The house has two large windows on the front, but they have also been sealed with concrete... It's absolutely impossible to get inside. The outlines of the windows can be seen in the pictures, you just have to look for them beside the door on each side.

Some people say that the house is sealed because of the strong paranormal activity that still remains inside, maybe there is a powerful evil spirit that's dormant there. Others say that the family that lived there was murdered and that the killer sealed the house at night so that no one would see the bodies. And finally, one of the most famous legends is that an exorcism was performed there, it's supposed to be the first exorcism ever performed in our city; but something went wrong and everyone including the priest died in the house, so the only way of keeping the demon inside was to seal the house.

Another interesting thing is that Morella is the name of one of Edgar Allan Poe's short stories, which seems fitting with the dark aura that surrounds the house.
