Neem Toner The benefits of neem leaves for oily skin that is prone to pimples and acne are well-known. A powerful treasure trove of antiseptic and antibacterial properties, neem also helps in keeping the levels of sebum secreted under control, thereby easing oily skin troubles. Add 2 Tbsp neem leaves to boiling water and boil for 5 to 8 minutes. Allow the water to cool. Wash your face daily with this water. Allow to dry naturally.Honey And Lemon While honey moisturizes the skin, lemon works as an effective oil absorbent. Both the ingredients have antibacterial and antiseptic properties as well that helps in warding off the oily skin issues. Briskly mix 1 tbsp of lemon juice and 1 tsp of honey. Apply this mixture evenly on cleansed face. Wait for 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Using a clean, soft cloth, dry off excess water, if any. Tomatoes Tomatoes are another great remedy for oily and acne prone skin. They contain skin clearing and cooling abilities. They have high levels of vitamin C and contain natural oil-absorbing acids. Tomatoes can also help you de-tan as they contain skin lightening properties. Take a slice of tomato and rub in on your face, allowing the juice to seep in for around 10-12 minutes. Rinse off with cold water and apply a moisturizer immediately after drying your face. Multani mitti Take one tablespoon multani mitti. Mix about three tablespoons with rose water. Apply to face and neck. Wash face when the pack dries off completely. This is a unique pack containing valuable herbs to give you an oil-free, smooth and clear skin. Orange Toner Oily skin has a basic tendency of secreting excess oil which makes your skin looking dull. Dull skin does not look good and looses its natural glow. Ayurved has a typical home made solution for this purpose. Try home made orange toner to remove excess oil from your skin. You can make this toner in your home with fresh orange peels. Orange peels contain vitamin C and orange oils which are good for oily skin. Take handful of orange peels and boil it in a cup of water. When it reduced in almost half of its quantity remove it from the flame. When it gets cooled and strains the mixture. Keep this mixture in a sterilized bottle in your refrigerator for future use. Wipe your face with this mixture with cotton pads in frequent times a day. It will help you to keep your skin clean, fresh and oil free for long hours. Orange peels contain vitamin C which is great anti oxidant for your skin which makes oily skin beautiful shine free and clear skin. papaya Applying papaya juice daily on the oily skin also help to keep the face cleaner. The papaya juice as mentioned in Ayurveda will help to gentle exfoliate the uppermost dead skin layer and thus the skin become clearer, this also keep the skin color brighter. Tulsi Face Mask Tulsi Face Mask Tulsi is not only good for oily skin, but it helps to treat all kinds of acne and blemishes on the skin. Due to antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties found in tulsi, it can help to keep your skin safe and healthy. Take some tulsi leaves and wash them in water. Now blend them to make a paste. Add a pinch of turmeric and 1 spoon of lemon juice to it. Mix all the ingredients together and apply this face mask and wash off after a while. Aloe Vera It would be prudent and useful to simply grow Aloe at home since this plant can cure nearly any dermatology-related issue. Otherwise, Aloe leaves are easily available at supermarkets. Aloe works as an anti-inflammatory agent. Cut the green layers off the leaf and you are left with a transparent, slimy, gel-like substance. In a bowl, mash this gel with your fingers as best as you can. Then apply this on your face and hair, and keep it on for about ten minutes or till it’s dry. Then, wash off.
