I suppose "fun" is one way to describe it XD Last time I decided to do a pen drawing (to some value of pen, it was entirely digital) I figured ahh I better use hatching and was full of regret the entire time XD The end result was a little bit on the rushed side but not as terrible as it could have been.
The texture in this one is pretty nice.
Thanks for that- yep its not terrible, but dang hatching takes a long time and it's really hard to do well. I'll mostly stick to ink washes for value but occasionally I'm tempted to hatch and it can be enjoyable. Sometimes...
