Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) have become indispensable access and identity management tools for our company. We were looking for a solution that would help simplify user administration, ensure data security, and integrate with our cloud services. The choice fell on the combination of AD and Azure AD, and it turned out to be a perfect solution. AD copes well with local tasks of managing accounts, groups, and security policies. With its help, we set up centralized management, which reduced the time for setting up new users and improved access control. With the implementation of Azure AD, we took management to the next level. It provided seamless integration with Microsoft 365, which was a real find for our remote team. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access management features helped significantly increase the level of security.
