The patent for prepaid bank account card is pending approval with the UK patent office. There patent for opening a bank account using face recognition biometric technology has been terminated before grant. So the patent was not granted. It seems that there is more work to be done by Babb in order to reach their goals. Babb has initiated a crowedfunding campaign to raise funds to apply for a banking license. If it goes as well as their ICO did then Babb will have the funds to apply. If the UK approves a banking license for Babb it will be the first decentralized world bank.
