The Angel Who Won My Heart

If you have known me 4 years ago or earlier, you'd know I'm a super duper anti-kid person. Kids = Monsters! I couldn't comprehend them, they are just the most annoying being to me.

On November 20th, 2013, everything was changing. I would say it was a butterfly effect because I didn't know the existence of Angel then. It was the day the Angel that changed my heart was born.

A Glimpse of Heaven

This love story started when Ian Lee, subzone sec, had to slowly step down so I took over the work to chase for attendance from each connect group (formerly known as cell group). @calebleejl and @silviagoh we're the leaders in one of the cg of our subzone. Every week, I have to point gun at their head to gimme attendance. I felt so bad all the time because I always thought I was talking to Caleb Lee only to find out that it was Silvia who's replying me most of the time, I hope the tone of my messages was polite.

Little did I know, the weekly annoying messages has one day became an invitation The Lee's Crib for dinner to a strong friendships.

But that wasn't the story. It was "love" at first sight with @asherlee. He has this charm, he doesn't reject, he doesn't cry like it's the end of the world, he listens, and he is a sweetheart.

From dinner to hang outs to stay over to baby-sitting Asher all by myself, I am nothing but proud of myself. But if it wasn't 'cause Asher is so manageable, I doubt I could I ever do it.

There are just too many great moments with this little one. I can be hard on him sometimes, but it simply 'cause I wanna bully him and also want him to be a good boy. He is the reason I fall in love with kids over and over again. He is my first favorite and he will always be. I am thankful to be a part of his life. My only wish is to watch him grow up to be a man of God.
