When little Eli Thompson from Alabama exist born in 2015,society called him a "miracle baby."
As soon as his mother, Brandi McGlathery headmost saw her baby boy, its says she "stood thither for a second, and I said thing is wrong with him. And my doctor said no, he's totally fine. And I said no, he does not have a nose."
Eli came to the world with an very rare condition called arhinia, which has only been reported to affect around 40 people worldwide. Along with being born without a nose, Eli did not have a nasal passage or sinus cavity. Though the small fighter survived to his second birthday, he tragically passed away in June 3, leaving together of his parents heart-broken.
in just five days old, he had been a tracheotomy put in to help him breathe and eat.unluckily, a medical emergency led to his untimely end of life.
"Eli was loved by so much. He touched the entire world. I am evermore thankful for that," Brandi said.
"i'll be eternally be able to make sense of why such happened, and this will hurt deeply for a long time," said his father, Jeremy Finch. "But I'm so blessed to have had this pretty boy in my life! He finished his race a lot earlier than we would have liked, but it was god's will time to bring him back home. I'll evermore look forward to vision him at the gates of Heaven waiting on me to give me other one of his famous fist bumps! I love you little man."
