Bachchan Pandey is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi. Apart from this, Apharan 2 is also releasing on 18 March.
It is a remake of the 2014 Tamil film Jigarthanda which itself was inspired by the 2006 South Korean film A Dirty Carnival. The film is scheduled to release theatrically on 18 March 2022.

It is reported that Bachchan Pandey is a remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram. Of four brothers, the film tells the story of one of them. Although there was a lot of debate between them, the brothers had a great love for each other.
A good-natured villager fights for the safety of his fiancée's family by bringing down his father's rivals. Bachchan Pandey (Akshay Kumar) is a movie starring two actresses. In one, he falls in love with a girl when he is young, and in the other, he falls in love with a girl when she becomes older and more mature.
In the story, a brave and respected man sacrifices his happiness to protect his younger brothers. After sacrificing his happiness, his brothers cannot be married until he is free. Therefore, they look for a woman for him.
A debutant director Myra Dewekar is tasked by a producer to come up with a gripping and violent gangster story to make a film.

To satisfy the producer's business vision and her hunger to make realistic films, she decides to study the life of a real-life gangster for the script. His extensive research leads to dangerous one-eyed 'Bachchan Pandey' of Bagwa, a ruthless gangster surrounded by quirky but fearsome henchmen.
Myra's overt and covert attempts to research the life of Bachchan Pandey fail miserably and she is caught for spying by a ruthless gangster. What happens next in this twist of stories, the story of this film takes us on a fun roller-coaster ride.
