BACK TO LIFE PROJECT - MY FIRST CONTEST ON STEEMIT

He was bleeding heavily that night. The excruciating pain drove sleep far from his entire apartment. While he battled with his colon as it itched and twist. It was getting to three months of blood flow through a man's anus. Unbearable pain it was and lasted even to December - a month known for festivities and merriment.

On December 18th, just last year 2017, someone somewhere had given this man my number. And he called. On the 19th, he called more than five times before day break, apologising every time for disturbing me. I told him it was okay.

I naturally understand what it means to be in pains. At at 13 I had had an accident. I fell off a motor cycle whose ridder was on a super high speed on an high way. It happened that he ran into heaps of wastes dropped by those living on the environ awaiting evacuation from Cross River Waste management. It happened in calabar. When the motor cyclists suddenly noticed the heaps, he tried to navigate away but throw me off into unconsciousness.

I didn't know what happened next, but woke on the hospital bed the following day. I saw my white T-shirt shocked with blood - white became red and I broke into uncontrollable tears. Stitches everywhere on my body. It was my first accident experience. By this time, my aunt you sent me on the errand had started looking for me everywhere in town. I was taken to hospital by a stranger, the cyclist had ran away.

I could have died that day on an high way if there was an oncoming vehicle but a stranger saved my life. I know what pain feels like. So when this man who had been bleeding kept calling me, I knew I should be calm and kind with him. He was suffering from pile (hemorrhoid)

Hemorrhoids, also called piles, are vascular structures in the anal canal. In their normal state, they are cushions that help with stool control. They become a disease when swollen or inflamed; The signs and symptoms of hemorrhoids depend on the type present. It could be Internal hemorrhoids often result in painless, bright red rectal bleeding when defecating. And or External hemorrhoids often result in pain and swelling in the area of the anus. If bleeding occurs it is usually darker. This man had external pile. The paid for him was too much to bear. He lived alone with his daughter who had gone for December convention outside the state with no mobile for to make contact.

So I called my mother by morning the following day to get curative treatment for him. My mother is a nurse and also a distributor of Chinese curative health products for #Piles, #stroke, #hypertension, #debates, #asthma, and any health challenges. The products cures completely. I started believing the efficacy of the product when it shrink and dissolve #fibroids #without #surgery. But this man didn't have the money for treatment.

His complains where more than the problem and I couldn't stand it anymore. With my savings, I got some products for him that will at least stop the bleeding and the pains. Two weeks later, he came smiling.

I lost my father to the cold hands of death because no one was willing to help. There is no illness or disease that is incurable if there is enough money to tackle it on time.

I was in school preparing for our year 3 second semester examination when my father kept calling. The transportation from my school in a different state to where my dad was wasn't available so I couldn't go. And I had exams the next week. So I resisted. Those he has been helping had no hands to help or withheld help from him. And I don't want to express this deeper cos it sets me into an emotional mood. But I lost him, yes I lost him. Because no one was willing to help. So I feel privileged when I am in a position to help. I do the much I can.

I usually do not like to announce the help I offer to others or what I had done for others as help. I also keep most of my pains inside of me. And how negligence to helping can send a person to early grave like how I lost my father. Oh I wish I had the money to take him to wherever I heard there could be help for him. Since I couldn't help then, I promise to help any other person when I am in a position to help because I hate to see people @tearsdrop. I want to see smiling faces all the time.

This is the first contest on steemit since my few weeks of joining this community. I want to see our humanity in display and love being shared to others. Let's be the reason for someone's laughter. I love to be the reason why someone found hope to life again.
