Gonorrhea is a disease caused by a bacterium called Neisseria gonorrhoeae or Gonococcus which is highly contagious. These bacteria are dangerous because they can attack the rectum, cervix (neck of the womb), urethra (urine and sperm canal), eyes, and throat. This disease can be experienced by anyone, both men and women, although it is generally experienced by men. Gonorrhea usually occurs in warm, moist areas of the body, such as the genitals, anus, or throat. Gonorrhea is most often transmitted through sexual activity. For example, such as oral or anal, the use of contaminated or uncoated sex toys with a new condom every time they are used, and having sex. Symptoms of gonorrhea usually appear about 10-20 days after the body is infected. When symptoms begin to appear, it is better if you get treatment as soon as possible. Because if left untreated, gonorrhea can cause a rash, fever, and eventually joint pain.
