Happy Ayyám-i-Há to all Baha'i Steemians and Steemians accorss the globe!
The Ayyam-i-Ha (or Intercalary Days) are a period of time when Bahá’ís focus more than usually on hospitality, charity, giving gifts, and preparing for the month of fasting. The Ayyam-i-Ha is of four or five days’ duration. They are the days that fall outside the nineteen months of nineteen days that make up the Bahá’í calendar.
All my life has been centered on service to people and the planet and I am happy this year's Ayyám-i-Há gives me the opportunity to reflect on how far I've come and fortify my spirit of giving and serving.
I've never fasted as a Baha'i but this year, I look forward to improving on my prayer life and fasting.
From now till the 1st of March, its all about giving, serving people, spreading love and preparing for prayer.
