The Baker In Me

Write your story... Hm well my story starts with being a SAHM, a stay at home mother. I learned that I enjoyed making food when i became a line cook in my mother's restaurant before having children. That great feeling when a customer comes to the kitchen entrance to personally say how much they enjoyed the food; no greater feeling of success :D
I had to quit the cooking business as I became pregnant with my first child. My big belly made it difficult for flipping bacon and eggs lol.
Remembering correctly baking starting when I made my first child's birthday cake and had good comments about it. Then my friend asked me to make her boyfriends birthday cake. My very first time baking for someone else. The cake... a body figure cake lol the female body, chest and waist. I had no idea what I was doing but took on the challenge. I grabbed two metal bowls for the breasts and a slab cake for waist, cut to shape and away I went. The hard part was making the nipples and I think it was cold in the kitchen that day.
It turned out ok.
From then on I learned of a talent I never knew I had and with time it turned into a home business.
