Instant Gratification Chocolate Chip Cookies

in baking •  6 years ago

Often the simplest cookie, can take a whole lot of time and effort before you can indulge. This recipe bypasses the softening of the butter, so you don’t have to wait for it to come to room temperature. There is no chilling the dough either, so you don’t have to wait for that as well.

This recipe delivers you the classic, beloved chocolate chip cookie without the usual wait time. So if you want cookies and you want them now, this is the recipe for you.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350℉.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sugars and butter. Whisk until fully combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter/sugar mixture, whisk together. Add the flour mixture to the bowl in three additions, stirring in gently until fully incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Roll in to one inch balls and bake on cookie sheets for 12-14 minutes. Allow to cool on pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to cookie rack for remaining cooling time.
