The #Bitcoin futures #platform #Bakkt , launched and operated by the Intercontinental Exchange ( #ICE) , has released its long-awaited application.
This application, called Bakkt App, will allow customers to interact with BTC and other crypto assets directly through the platform.
Additionally, the company has partnered with several key companies, including #BestBuy and #Starbucks.
🚨Bakkt Application Is Coming
Launched in 2018, Bakkt provides institutional and accredited investors with exposure to BTC through its regulated platform. The company announced the release of an app for years and earlier this week announced that the product was finally arriving.
According to the statement, the app will act as a digital wallet that "combines bitcoin and other forms of digital assets on a single platform." It enables customers to convert participant reward points into cash or use the leading cryptocurrency as a payment method.
The official version of the app comes after an invitation-only Early Access Program, with 500,000 users running lots of testing. After launch, customers will be able to download it from leading smartphone stores including the App Store and Google Play Store.
🚨Starbucks and Best BUY On Board
In the statement, it was also reported that Bakkt, which is on its way to becoming a public company, has partnered with important names such as Starbucks and Best Buy.
The collaboration with the multinational chain of coffee houses will allow customers to reload their Starbucks Cards via Bakkt via the company's iOS app. This allows them to convert loyalty and reward points, bitcoin, frequent flyer miles and gift cards to USD in the Bakkt App, and reload their Starbucks Cards.
Another partnership with GolfNow will allow customers to use the Bakkt App for payment solutions for more than 3.5 million members.
