Alec Baldwin's interview with detectives before he knew that Hutchins had been killed has been released.
His interview is proof both that you shouldn't talk to the cops without a lawyer and that he's probably guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
He demonstrated full awareness of the danger of firearms as well as talking about his astute familiarity with the differences between live rounds, dummy rounds, and blanks. He was almost boasting about how familiar with guns he is.
What that means is that he knew the full risk of pointing a gun at another human being without checking it himself, he did it anyway, and he pulled the trigger (unless by some miracle the gun was defective and we haven't heard about it).
That's recklessness causing death.
If Kim Potter is in prison, Alec Baldwin should absolutely be in prison.
