Bandra, the microcosm that represents Mumbai & even India, is a synthesis of many influences ranging from Koli, Maratha, Gujarati, Portuguese and British.

This syncretism is evident in its cuisine , its religious places and indeed its very ethos.

Home to many Bollywood stars, Bandra is known for its happening food scene, be it the newly introduced exotic cusines from all over the world or simply the local cafes with their all time classic dishes.

Bandra now boasts of its very own landmark the Bandra-worli sea link. To some in Mumbai the Bandra worli sea link is what the Brooklyn bridge is to New York.
