When we were watching the match along with couple of friends it was just a outstanding match. Am not just giving you a match report,it is what we call emotion. We love our country as much as our Mom!
And yesterday with Afghan we played well. The match was alive till the end. There was no end till the last breath taking ball. What a match for Fizz , for Bangladesh. Afghanistan needed * run in the final over. Mustafiz was struggling with some cramp . Nevertheless he was our final hope for final triumph.
We lost so many matches in recent past at the last moment, we did not want to let this match go out of our hand. So we stayed firm. Our super captain Mash deliver 2 big wickets, Shakib Al Hasan made an outstanding afford in the field, Mahamudullah took a blinder!
At first it was going well with Liton Dash! But alas he dropped the gun! Shakib went for none! Mushi did not stay either! Then came the man Mahamudullah,the man with two ton in WC. He played with Imrul kayes a perfect recovery innings, Imrul played his part also with a good score.
Then it was balling time, captain took the law in his own hand. Mustafiz fired first. Mahamudullah took a part to win the match with the ball also. Then it all came down to 8 runs needed for Afghan in 6 balls. It was tense, really tense.
Rashid took the charge, threw his bat, the ball went high, and a comfortable catch for Mustafiz. It was getting difficult. Then four was needed in just 2 balls. One gone, 4 was needed in the very final delivery.
So many thoughts come to our minds. We lost so many from this point. We do not want more! Fizz balled, Afghan bat was thrown, Afghan just missed the ball, and the match. And Bangladesh take a bow for a breathtaking victory.
